When I first met Penny and Dean, we didn’t really talk about wedding photography, but instead talked about travel. The places we’d been, and the places we’d still love to visit. It was only towards the end I asked if they’d like to know more about my work to help them decide – to which they replied ‘oh, we’ve already decided we want to book you, we just wanted to say hello in person’. It’s a really wonderful feeling when you click with the people you’re gonna take photos of – I knew we’d all have a great time on the day! After spending some of the morning with both the boys and the girls, it was ceremony time. Both Penny and Dean looked cool as cucumbers, determined to simply enjoy every minute of the day. I loved their choice of table names, all named after Cambodian buddhist temples – four of which I’m proud to say I’ve been to. The day panned out perfectly, leaving us just enough time for some laid back portraits in the best light of the day. Penny & Dean, congratulations! Here’s their story of the day….
